What is Mango Tres Leches?
A light sponge cake soaked in a three-milk mixture, here infused with fresh mango for a juicy, creamy, melt-in-the-mouth dessert.
Main Ingredients:
Vanilla Sponge:

Milk – 1 cup (lukewarm)

Vinegar – 2 tsp

Butter – ⅓ cup
-
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp

Maida – 1 cup

Powdered sugar – ½ cup

Baking powder – 1 tsp

Baking soda – ½ tsp
Mango Milk Mixture:

Milk – 2 cups
-
Condensed milk – ½ cup
-
Fresh cream – ½ cup

Mango – 1
Topping:
-
Whipped cream
-
Chopped mango
How to make Mango Tres Leches

Mix milk and vinegar, rest for 2–3 mins.

Add melted butter & vanilla. Sift in dry ingredients and whisk into a smooth batter.

Pour into a greased non-stick pan, tap gently. Cover and cook on lowest flame for 15 mins (seal lid if needed). Rest covered for 10–15 mins more.

Check doneness, cool completely, demould and cut into slices. Poke holes all over.

Blend mango pulp with some milk, strain, mix with remaining milk, condensed milk & cream.

Pour mango milk over sponge evenly. Chill for a few minutes.

Top with whipped cream and chopped mango. Pour extra mango milk while serving.
