Does Hard Anodized cookware work in the oven?
Hard anodized cookware is more advantageous than traditional cookware because it doesn't have the same issue of not being able to be moved from stovetop to oven. Historically, if you wanted to put your cooktop pans in the oven, you were pretty much restricted to using cast iron or stainless steel. However, both of those materials make it easy for food to stick if you're not careful. But now, with hard anodized cookware, we can put a non-stick pan in the oven without worry.
Why has Nickel free Stainless Steel become a preference for consumers?
Nickel is present in almost every kitchen. If you have a nickel allergy, it's vital to use cookware that doesn't contain nickel since stainless steel cookware often contains this metal and it can leech into our food.
Be aware that stainless steel cookware might release low levels of nickel, especially if the stainless steel is used harshly or if cooking acidic foods like tomatoes. The release of low levels of nickel and chromium should not be a cause for concern for most people. However, those who have sensitivities or allergies to either substance would find this problematic. How to prevent Stainless Steel from damage?
Caring for your stainless-steel cookware properly will help extend its lifespan. To use cooking utensils without damaging the surface, choose those made from silicone or wood. In order to maintain your cookware and keep it in tip-top shape for years to come, be sure to clean it properly. Gently scrub the surface of your pots and pans with a soft sponge or cloth, being careful not to damage the delicate material. Your stainless-steel cookware will thank you!
Keeping Steel good as new!
Over time, even the best of us will notice that food is sticking to our pots and pans, or that the surfaces are beginning to discolour. If you mean to clean them right away but got side-tracked. Have no fear! There are easy ways to get your cookware looking new again, and they don't require any harsh chemicals.
Don't spend hours scrubbing off stuck or burnt-on food.
Here is an easy three-step process to remove burnt or stuck-on food from your pans.
1. Fill the pan with warm water and add some baking soda. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
2. Use a non-metal spatula or spoon to loosen the food particles.
3.. If that doesn't work, bring the water to a boil then turn off the heat and try loosening the food again Once cooled, wash and dry as usual."

Mix 1 part vinegar with 3 parts waters to fill the pan. Boil, then cool. Wash normally.
Do you see iridescent, rainbow-like spots on your cookware?
If your pot or pan starts to discolour, don't worry! This is usually from overheating. To avoid this in the future, make sure not to overheat your cookware. If it does happen, try cooking something tomato-based in the pan. Another solution is boiling water and vinegar in the pan.
Pitting Corrosion
This occurs when you salt your water before boiling it, as a result of a reaction between the salt and oxygen in the water, and chromium found in stainless steel.
Though you can't erase pitting corrosion that's already present, to stop it from happening in the future, add salt once water begins boiling. At this point, there is insufficient oxygen levels for the reaction to occur.
