  1. Ramnad Mundu/Gundu, Tamil Nadu: This chilli is grown in the Ramnad district of Tamil Nadu. It has a shiny orange-red skin and is almost the shape of a sphere. This chilli is used a lot in Chettinad food to make it taste better.

 

  1. Dhani, Manipur: This chilli is grown in the state of Manipur, and it is easy to find in Kolkata. Known for its strong pungent smell and heat, it is blood red in colour.
