How to make nihari masala at home?
- 8 - Bay leaves
- 15 pieces - Cloves
- 2 pieces - Star Anise
- 6-6 3" inches - Cinnamon sticks
- ½ piece - Nutmeg
- 20 pieces - Green Cardamom
- 1.5 tbsp - Fennel Seeds
- 6" inches - Dry Ginger(Saunth)
- 1 tsp - Black Cumin
- 40 corns - Black pepper
- 2 Tsp - Cumin Seeds
- 1 tbsp - Alco Turmeric powder
- ½ tsp - Mace
- 3 Tsp - Coriander Seed
To prevent over-roasting, roast each item listed above individually. Roasting should be done on a sturdy pan base.
