Chocolate Muffins

Serves 2-3

Eggs - 2

Sugar - 1/2 cup

Oil - 1/2 cup

Refined flour - 3/4 cup

Cocoa powder - 1/2 cup

Salt - 1/2 tsp

Baking soda - 1 tbsp

Baking powder - 3/4 tbsp

Milk - 1/2 cup

Simple and basic. These chocolate muffins are a foolproof dish for when you want something sweet and simple.


1) In a large mixing bowl, crack open 2 eggs, add in sugar and oil and start whisking. Keep whisking till everything is light, combined and pale in colour

2) Add in all the dry ingredients, flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder and baking soda, fold it all in and keep on adding the milk 

3) Once the batter is ready, pour it in a muffin pan and bake at 180 degrees for 20 mins

4) Serve warm
