Quick and Easy Different :
Different Style Pasta is a weeknight saviour — minimal prep, a handful of ingredients, and just one pot or pan. From boiling pasta to tossing it in your chosen sauce and spices, the whole dish comes together in under 20 minutes, making it perfect for busy days without compromising on flavour.
How to make
-
Char the Bell Pepper – Roast directly over a gas flame or under an oven grill until skin is blackened. Cool, peel, and remove seeds.
-
Blend the Sauce – In a grinder, add charred bell pepper, tomato puree, milk, fresh cream, tomato ketchup, and processed cheese. Blend until smooth and creamy.
-
Cook the Veggies – In a non-stick pan, heat oil and butter. Saute garlic for 30 seconds, add onion, sweet corn, and broccoli, and cook for 2–3 minutes. Season with salt, chilli flakes, and pizza seasoning.
- Add Sauce & Pasta – Pour the blended sauce into the pan with veggies, stir, and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Serve – Garnish with extra cheese or herbs and serve hot.
Expert Tips
-
Char for Flavour – Roast the bell pepper until well blackened for a deep smoky taste.
-
Peel While Warm – It’s easier to remove the charred skin when the pepper is still slightly warm.
-
Blend Smoothly – Blend the sauce ingredients until completely smooth for a velvety texture.
-
Season in Layers – Add a little salt while cooking veggies and adjust again after mixing with the sauce.
-
Use Reserved Pasta Water – It helps thin the sauce while keeping it glossy and smooth.
-
Serve Immediately – Creamy sauces thicken on standing, so serve fresh for the best texture.
