What is Microwave Pumpkin Idli?

A no-fermentation, instant idli made with rava, pumpkin, and coconut—steamed in the microwave for a fluffy, moist texture.

 

 

 

Main Ingredients:

  1. Grated pumpkin – 1 cup
  2. Grated coconut – ½ cup
  3. Rava (sooji) – 1 cup
  4. Coriander – 2 tbsp (chopped)
  5. Salt – to taste

 

 

How to make Microwave Pumpkin Idli

  1. In a bowl, mix grated pumpkin, coconut, rava, coriander, and salt. Mix well.

  2. Let it sit for 5 minutes so the rava hydrates and softens.

  3. Transfer to a microwave-safe bowl, cover with a lid, and cook for 2.5 minutes.

  4. Let it cool slightly, demould or scoop out, and serve hot with your favourite chutney.
