Indian Pennywort: Health Benefits, Uses and Important Facts

Indian pennywort is a leafy herb that has been used for centuries as a herbal elixir to cure mental illnesses and improve memory. The Ramayana, the Mahabharata, and many other classic works of Indian literature all describe the advantages of this herb. By finely slicing the entire pennywort and adding it to salads, the entire portion can be consumed raw. Additionally, you can boil or mash the leaves to produce pennywort tea and other beverages with additional salt or sugar. Indian Pennywort is also used extensively in the preparation of Chinese, and Indonesian medicines.
