If you're looking for a flavour that will really spice up your life, then look no further than peri peri. This fiery condiment is perfect for adding a bit of zing to any dish, and it's become increasingly popular in recent years. Whether you're sprinkling it on chips or chicken, or flavouring popcorn, this accentuates the flavour of every dish!

The flavour and taste of any cuisine, whether it be an actual Italian dish like pasta or fries or any other dish, can be elevated to a whole new level by the addition of peri mix. Those who enjoy tinkering and experimenting in the kitchen enjoy experimenting with different masalas and combinations.

Origin of Peri Peri

Peri peri is also referred to as the African Bird's Eye Chilli. Since it is cultivated in African soil, the enchantment begins at the ground level. Even if it tastes fantastic, there are additional advantages: Vitamins A, B, and C are abundant in PERI-PERI chilli seed.

Additionally, they contain capsaicin, which improves mood by causing your pupils to enlarge, your metabolism to speed up, and an endorphin surge when consumed!

Peri Peri Masala is a great spice mix for anyone who loves spicy food. It has a unique flavour that is perfect for adding to French fries, bread sticks, barbeque chicken, and crispy corn. This hot spice, also known as piri piri or pili pili, is a tasty addition to savoury dishes and brings out the flavours of common snacks. This masala can also be used in other dishes to give them a boost of flavour.

Peri Peri composition:

Basil, cayenne, cumin, oregano, paprika, black pepper, rosemary, thyme, onion, and salt are the main ingredients in our Piri Piri Spice Mix. It will give each of your dishes a "kick."

Traditional Piri piri sauce is employed as a spice or a marinade. Peppers make up the majority of it, of course. Depending on the location, the recipe may differ, but it often calls for oil, lemon or lime, onions, salt, pepper, bay leaves, paprika, basil, oregano, and tarragon. Piri piri sauce was probably used to season each beautifully seasoned chicken you've ever eaten from a Portuguese rotisserie!

What is peri peri sauce or peri peri mix?

Malagueta chilies are combined with garlic, lemon, pepper, onion, bay leaves, and oil to create the peri peri sauce or mix. These are dried and crushed together to create the spice blend. Fresh ingredients are combined, ground, and cooked in oil to make the sauce.

Peri peri sauce or mix can be used to add flavour and spice to any dish. It is perfect for grilling, marinating or stir-frying meats and vegetables. Peri peri chicken is a popular dish made with this sauce, but it can also be used to make other flavorful dishes.

Peri peri is mostly used in the making of the African delicacy peri peri chicken.

Health benefits of Peri Peri:

The active ingredient in peri peri or malagueta chilies, capsaicin, is what gives them their antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-cancer properties.

Improves immunological function

Having immune-boosting qualities, vitamin C is abundant in chilli peppers. The vitamin aids in the growth of immune system B- and T-cells, assisting the body in eliminating any invasive pathogens including bacteria, viruses, and fungus.

Another important ingredient in chilli peppers, capsaicin, boosts the immune system's defences against pathogens.

Aids in battling cancer

The ability of hot chilli peppers to combat cancer is one of its greatest advantages. Malagueta and other chilli peppers contain capsaicin, which affects the immune system and aids in the rejection of tumour cells.

The expression of genes that promote the development and spread of cancer cells can also be changed by capsaicin. Malagueta peppers and other peppers like them can help prevent cancer by being included in the diet.

Improves digestion

Nutritional deficiencies, constipation, gas, bloating, and other health issues can result from poor digestion. Capsaicin, a compound in chillies like the peri peri pepper, improves digestive health by accelerating the passage of food through the intestines. Additionally, chillies relieve bloating, discomfort in the stomach, and functional gastrointestinal diseases.

Good for heart health

Consuming spicy foods like peri peri peppers in your diet may be beneficial for your heart. Cardiovascular disease incidence has been related to capsaicin, the bioactivator found in chilies. As a vasodilator, capsaicin expands blood arteries to let more blood flow through them. The blood pressure is lowered as a result.

Additionally, capsaicin reduces insulin resistance, stops artery plaque from forming, lowers the risk of metabolic syndrome, and lowers the risk of stroke. Additionally, it promotes normal glucose levels.

Helps in weight loss

Piri piri chilli peppers, in particular, increase metabolism and hasten fat burning. Capsaicin, which is regarded as a "anti-obesity medication," affects fat cells and helps people lose weight. Additionally, it reduces body weight by raising energy consumption.

Added health advantages of peri peri
