Bored of your usual turmeric and coriander poha and in the mood to try some good Chinese food? We've got one recipe that solves both of these problems. This Asian stir fried poha, brings the flavour of the umami Chinese sauces into the soft and robust poha we all love.
This recipe is a take on the fusion of two very classic and authentic recipes of two different cuisines. The Indian soft and supple poha, which is mixed and stir fried with some amazing and flavorful Chinese sauces.
How to make Asian Stir Fried Poha
In a Select kadai, add some refined oil and saute chopped garlic and chopped ginger. Crack one egg into the kadai and cook it by scrambling
Add chopped onions and tomatoes to the kadai, with all three kinds of bell peppers chopped as well. Saute everything. Add some chill paste, soy sauce and vinegar to the pan and stir it all in.
3. Add poha to the pan and fold it into the masala prepared. Season it with black pepper and finish it off with some coriander and lemon juice.
4. Serve the poha in a bowl topped with some lemon wedges.
Saute the garlic and ginger completely before adding the eggs.
Keep on moving the eggs to evenly scramble them.
Once you have added the eggs, it does not take long to cook the whole dish or the eggs will get overcooked.
