How to make Masala Cheese Pav
- Heat a stainless steel frypan and melt some butter into it. Add chopped onions and green chillies into it. Sweat the onions till they are light and translucent. Add some chopped garlic, with capsicum, carrot and tomatoes.
- Saute everything together and add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander, garam masala and degi mirch. Mix and cook the masalas together with the vegetables and take it off the heat. Add grated mozzarella cheese with the vegetables and mix them together. Take two pavs and make two slits on the surface of the buns to the bottom but not all the way through.
- Fill the buns generously with the vegetable filling so that both the pockets are completely stuffed. Melt some butter in the same frypan and toast the buns with the butter from all the sides.
- Top the hot toasted pav with your favourite chutney and some chopped coriander.
