Methi Paneer
Chef Varun teaches a super simple recipe of methi paneer which is not just delicious but very quick to make also and only requires simple home ingredients. its a slightly different way of having a paneer curry at home but it is perfect to try out in winters because of al the fresh methi that is available.

Ingredients
Desi ghee - 2 tbsp
Cumin/jeera - 1 pinch
Whole coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
Onion paste - 2 onions
Chopped ginger garlic - 2 tbsp
Chopped green chilli - 2
Ginger juliennes - 1 tbsp
Fresh tomato puree - 3
Meat masala - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric - 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Red chilli paste - 2 tbsp
Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
Butter - 1 cube
Chopped methi - 1 bunch
Cubed paneer - 1 block
1) In a skillet heat the desi ghee and add cumin and whole coriander to it and let it crackle.
2) Add in the chopped ginger garlic and onion paste and cook till light brown
3) Add in the chopped green chillies and ginger juliennes
4) Add in the fresh tomato puree and cook for a few minutes
5) Add in all the powdered spices and salt
6) Add a little water to make a gravy
7) Add in the red chilli paste, cream and butter
8) Add in chopped fresh methi and cubed paneer
9) Garnish with chopped coriander
