Preheat your oven to 180 degree celsius. Start by adding melted butter in a large bowl with the brown sugar. Incorporate them using a hand mixer.
Crack 2 eggs into the same bowl and beat them into the butter and sugar mixture.
To the aerated mixture, add melted chocolate and mix that as well into the batter with a mixer.
Add the all purpose flour to the batter and fold it using a silicone spatula.
Finish the batter off with a handful of chocolate chips and fold them in as well.
Transfer the batter into a non-stick square baking dish. Sprinkle some sea salt over it and bake it for 20 minutes in a 180 degree oven.
Once the brownie comes out, let it rest for 8-10 minutes or till it is completely cool and remove it from the pan and cut into 9 equal pieces.

Brownies are a totally different thing than regular cakes. Even though they have the same ingredients, the quantity and technique is quite different. There aren’t any leveners in a brownie to help it rise, therefore it is integral to whip the batter thoroughly to get in as much air as possible.
