    How to make Keema Do Pyaaza ?

    1) In a large bowl of mutton keema, add salt, chilli powder and chopped garlic. Mix all of it together with your hands and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

    2) Heat a Cast Iron Skillet and add mustard oil to it, fry some ginger, garlic, onions and green chillies into the oil. Finish it off with tomato puree

    3) Add the marinated mutton keema to the masala and incorporate it. Add all the dry spices to the keema and mix.

    4) Add some water for cooking the keema. Follow up with some cubes of onions and tomatoes and cook them till they are soft.

    5) Finish off the recipe with some garam masala and fresh coriander, mix and serve it hot in a bowl. Garnish with some ginger juliennes and fresh coriander leaves.

    Expert Tips

    1) Make sure to marinate the mutton, as unlike chicken, mutton keema takes longer to cook.

    2) Cook the onions and tomato puree completely before adding the water.

    3) The dried spices at the end need to be thoroughly cooked with the keema or they could taste unpleasant.
