How to make Mutton Burger
- Let's start by preparing the mutton keema mixture for our patties. For this mix together the minced mutton along with the parsley, mint, garlic, thyme and salt and pepper.
- Mix all the ingredients together and form into patties of around 150-180 gms each. Let the patties sit in a covered tray or container for around 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- To make the sauce, add the mayonnaise, mustard, parsley along with truffle oil and salt and pepper to taste in a bowl. Mix everything together and allow it to rest for at least 15-30 minutes.
- To prepare veggies for the burger, cut a tomato and onion into slices and keep aside.
- Now let's cook the burger patty. For this heat some oil in a cast iron pan over medium high heat. Once the oil is hot, place the patty in the pan and cook on each side for 7-8 minutes.
- Once the patty is almost done, put a slice of cheese on one side of the patty and cover it for 1 minute or until the cheese is melted.
- Now remove the patty from the pan and in the same pan, toast the burger buns using all the fats that were released from the mutton.
- Finally let’s start assembling the burger. For this start by applying a generous amount of the sauce on each toasted side of the bun, follow this by layering the onion and tomato and finally the patty and a half fried egg on top.
- Serve the burger with a salad of your choice and some freshly made fries.
