How to make Chilli Garlic Noodles & Veg Manchurian
- Start by heating some oil in a Trivantage frypan. Into that saute some sliced onions, french beans and carrots, season them with salt. Add blanched broccoli to the pan with some sliced cabbage. Take them all out of the pan.
- Add some more oil in the pan and saute chopped garlic with some de-seeded red chillies, red chilli powder, soy sauce and vinegar, mix them all together. Add the stir fried vegetables to the pan.
- Add the cooked hakka noodles and chopped onions into the pan and season them with salt. Toss and mix them all with the vegetables and sauce. Set them aside.
- In a large bowl, grate a whole cabbage and squeeze out all the water in a separate bowl and save it. Add chopped carrots, crushed black pepper, salt, cornflour, ginger garlic paste, all purpose flour and red chilli powder to the bowl and mix everything together.
- In a trivantage kadai, heat oil for frying. Fry the manchurian batter shaped into even sized balls. Take them out once fully cooked, brown and crisp. Once everything is fried, remove all the oil leaving a little back.
- Into the oil add some chopped ginger and garlic, quartered onions and some carrot juliennes, cubed capsicum, chopped green chilli and season with salt. Saute everything and add sliced cabbage into it as well and saute everything.
- Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, the squeezed cabbage water and excess water if required. and crushed black pepper and cornflour mixed in water. Once the sauce is thick, mix in chopped green onions and the fried manchurian balls.
- Serve the saucy manchurian on a bed of spicy and sweet noodles.
